SEO stands for “Search Engine Optimization” and it’s the process of getting your website to the top of Google’s organic search results.
This process of SEO has four core pillars of success:
- Keywords
- Technical
- Content
- Backlinks
Lets take a look at each one.
1. Keywords

Once you have found your keywords, you need to optimize your site’s technical performance.
2. Technical
Don’t worry about the word “technical” because it’s actually quite simple once you know what you’re looking for. The objective of technical performance optimization is two-fold:
- First, we want Google to crawl our pages and index them quickly and efficiently.
- Second, we want our website to have an amazing User Experience (UX).
Nathan show’s you what to look for and how to optimize both elements in the video.
Once you’ve found the right keywords and optimized them for UX, it’s time to move on to the most critical step:
3. CONTENT
Content is the foundation of SEO. You should spend the majority of your time creating and optimizing SEO-friendly content. SEO-driven content.
Here’s the key:
You should always optimize BEFORE you create (explain why in the video.)
And last, but not least:
4. Backlinks
You can hit all the previous pillars with ease, but you won’t be able to do it without backlinks.
What is a backlink?
A backlink is a link from another website or page on your website to your website.
Google views backlinks as “votes”.
The more votes your page gets, the more trust Google will have in your site.
